Real buyers interrupt. They cut in when a rep rambles, talk over a weak answer and go quiet when something lands. Early versions of Dryrun waited politely for every sentence to finish, and reps noticed right away.

Turn-taking is the product

We rebuilt the voice pipeline around turn-taking. The buyer listens while it speaks, predicts when a rep is wrapping up and decides whether to wait, jump in or let the silence sit.

“The first time the buyer cut me off, I laughed. The second time, I tightened my pitch.”

Latency mattered more than voice quality. Below about half a second, interruptions feel natural. Above it, they feel like a bad phone line, and reps stop taking them seriously.

Interruptions are now tuned per persona. A rushed CFO cuts in fast. A cautious IT lead lets you finish, then asks the question you were hoping to avoid.
